>I am envious of you Canadians! In Florida, there are very few hikes 🙁
Come up for a visit. We’ll show you around.
If you come in late May, there will still be some wisps of snow in the crevices of the mountains, making it look even [nicer.](http://i.imgur.com/bk9QcUB.jpg) Despite this, in the Jasper valley the temperatures will probably be 68-75, and it should be sunny and clear. There probably won’t be any mosquitoes and flies.
You can come in August as well, and there will be few bugs left. They have a very short season.
Ah heck, come any time from may to the end of august.
Outside of the national parks there are all sorts of wonderful things to see that even few locals hear about. It can be less than trivial to reach [them](http://i.imgur.com/CCemNXZ.jpg), but so fun getting there. Once you visit one place, you get a taste for going to the most obscure locations.
Lately I’ve been chasing [waterfalls](http://i.imgur.com/ISsbo2r.jpg ), and there are still a few good ones within a few hours drive of me, even if I have been to the most [famous](http://i.imgur.com/UYzaEO1.jpg) in my area.
But even if you are not adventurous enough to drive 4 hours off into the woods, there are plenty of pretty little places [30 seconds](http://i.imgur.com/yMVRORC.jpg) off the highway.
Anyway, you should come for a visit.
