The picture is definitely taken in perfect weather, and is in almost every way quite perfect, but this is definitely what it could look like in real life.
>It might be i just don’t notice them anymore
This is true from my experience. I’m born and raised in Iceland, but moved to the US 5 years ago. Since then I have not been back during summertime (always go for Christmas) long enough to do any serious travelling, until this August. I took my girlfriend over for a roadtrip across the country (“hringinn”) and I was in constant awe. I could almost not believe how beautiful everything was. Every single mountain and waterfall on the way floored me… Even though I’ve seen this all before (for some places it’s been a long while) and it only felt “mildly to pretty interesting” at the time. Some places actually left me in tears.
I guess it’s kind of like anything else you do.. If it’s around you all the time it lessens or stops that dopamine rush from experiencing it.
