I’m not saying the guy’s post was hilarious, but I think he was feigning color-blindness for a laugh, accurate or not.
[Brown’s hue range spans much of red-through-yellow](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Shades_of_brown). So a darker color in the blue hue range, which would appear as yellow if it were brighter, might appear brownish.
