I live in Boise, Idaho, and moved here from Lincoln 8 years ago. There are a few things I miss dearly. The weather there is incredible; the humidity alone is great, but the raging thunderstorms of Tornado Alley are quite an experience. Cicadas singing in the evening is something of a delicacy; crickets are nice, but the soft, steady, synced chirp of cicadas really is exquisite. Quiet roars from distant trains as you sleep. Lush, green land as far as the eye can see.. and of course, the Huskers. There is no place like Nebraska.
